Presenting Confidence

Presentations are a great way to get information across to people, and people are increasingly giving presentations.  Whether to colleagues, customers, user groups or senior management, a great presentation can help people to understand your message and build enthusiasm and commitment.  However, many people shy away from giving presentations, whether in informal settings, or more formal, boardroom or conference settings.

Preparing to give presentations gives everyone a buzz of adrenaline.  It’s helpful to feel a little nervous, it ensures that you come over as interested and interesting, but sometimes nervousness can blight a presentation.  Whether it turns your presentation into an incoherent ramble, or a hyperactive nightmare, excessive nerves or poor presentation can draw attention away from the power of your message.

Structured Training’s Improving Your Presentation Skills Open Course give participants the skills they need to present with impact, and to prepare effectively so that they appear confident and in control.
